CBC Deaf Ministry

Community Bible Church has a vibrant and steadfast Deaf ministry that has remained strong and serves the Deaf who visit or are members. The ministry began almost as soon as CBC was founded in 1990 because there was a family with 2 Deaf sons and few to no options for churches in the area that had Deaf ministries or interpreters at that time.

Deaf Gatherings

FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH

CBC's Deaf ministry hosts monthly Gatherings where a Deaf preacher comes to lead the group, dinner is provided and worship is done in America Sign Language. The Gatherings are a great time for Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing and Hearing people to come together and learn more about Christ, in the native language of the Deaf, American Sign Language. It is a time of fellowship and connecting. The Gatherings occur on the first Saturday of every month from 4:45-7:30 pm in Room E209. Dinner will be served and childcare provided. All are welcome and voice interpreters are also provided for those that do not know ASL. We hope to see you all there.
