Deaf Ministry

CBC Deaf Ministry

Welcome to CBC's Deaf Ministry, a vibrant and inclusive community where Deaf individuals of all ages can learn about Jesus and build meaningful relationships without the barriers of language or culture. Our ministry is dedicated to providing a welcoming environment that embraces American Sign Language (ASL) as the primary mode of communication, ensuring that everyone can fully participate in worship, fellowship, and learning.

We understand that not everyone is fluent in ASL, so we offer voice interpreters to bridge the gap for those who are not familiar with sign language. Whether you are Deaf, hard of hearing, or hearing, our ministry is designed to bring people together and foster a deeper understanding and connection to the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Join us at CBC's Deaf Ministry, where you will find a supportive community that celebrates diversity and promotes spiritual growth. Together, we break down barriers and build up faith, creating a space where everyone can thrive.

Weekends

CBC's Deaf Ministry is pleased to offer ASL interpretation during our Saturday service at 5:00 pm in the Main Worship Center. Seating is located at the front right of the sanctuary with reserved signs labeled "Reserved Deaf Section." Interpretation is available for both worship and the message!

Deaf Gatherings

FEBRUARY 2025 IS OUR NEXT MONTHLY GATHERING!!

We are excited to invite you to the monthly Gatherings hosted by CBC's Deaf Ministry! These gatherings are a wonderful opportunity for Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and Hearing individuals to come together for a time of fellowship, worship, and learning about Christ in the native language of the Deaf, American Sign Language (ASL).

Details for the Gathering:

When: First Saturday of every month, 4:45 – 7:30 PM

Dinner: Provided

Childcare: Available

Interpreters: Voice interpreters will be present for those who do not know ASL.

Each Gathering features a Deaf preacher, and the service is led entirely in ASL, making it a unique and meaningful experience for everyone. Whether you are familiar with ASL or not, the time spent together in worship and learning will surely be enriching. This is a welcoming event for all—so bring a friend, and feel free to join us for a meal, connect with others, and grow in faith.

We would love to see you there!
